I'm a fan of Choi's! This carry-out place offers seafood, sandwiches, subs, cheesesteaks, fried chicken, wings, and breakfast options. I was craving for some lake trout, so we came up here on a weekend and ordered: +a Chicken & Trout Combo - comes with 1 trout, 2 wings, and a side of western fries; really liked the trout, as it was perfectly fried and crispy; they deboned it pretty okay +a Sukiyaki sub - supposedly a 'secret menu' item, but it seemed to be so regularly requested that it's on the menu now; has a sweet teriyaki-like sauce, and comes with lettuce, tomatoes, and onions; I was curious about this, but wasn't a fan of it I loved that there's a counter with sauces, sauce cups, and utensils - no fighting or charging for extra hot sauces here! The sauce bottle that's labeled as 'New Sauce'? Don't sleep on it! This creamy, tangy, savory sauce is sooo yummy on the potato wedges! There's only a couple of tables, so most call ahead or order in-person. Service was kind and friendly! Located in a little plaza, there's ample parking. +tasty trout! +western fries! +New Sauce! +friendly service +ample parking in the lot

The western fries were so hot, fresh and tasty. I would go back for them alone. The lake trout was just okay to me. Service was great. I didn't get the chicken but it was definitely fresh and it looked delicious from what I could see.

I recently moved to Baltimore and hadn't had a chicken box. We just heard about it, and my husband told us we needed to have it for dinner that night. Luckily, Choi's was close to my husband's work. I went to go pick him up, and we headed over here on a very rainy evening. There's a large parking lot but everyone seems to park in the tow away zone. So it does get a little interesting to maneuver around everyone. Choi's had a constant stream of people coming in and out. We got a 4 wing and Western fry combo as well as a 6 wing and western fry combo. And 2 half and half's (one large, one medium) the cashier was a very polite and nice, especially to us newcomers. The food also didn't take too long to get to us. They have condiments and what not on a counter as a well. We had a somewhat longer drive home because of traffic, but man was it worth it. The wings were perfectly seasoned. The chicken itself was very juicy as well. I didn't think I could eat all of it, but I ate it all. The fries were delicious. They didn't hold their crispy-ness well after the drive, but still so good. My husband finished all of his wing and fries. And downed almost all of his large half and half. The half and half is very sweet but so satisfying with the wings/fries. Choi's is a hole in the wall kind of place. It's not in the best area, but the food is absolutely amazing. My husband is already talking about going here for lunch sometimes.

My wife and I were riding home from my in-laws house and were trying to figure out dinner. I made a mention of Choi's and she immediately lit up. She loves their chicken boxes and automatically decided that's where we were going. It's a chicken box spot, nothing much to expect. I think that's actually the great thing about these carry outs here in Baltimore. They don't try to give too much decor, it's just an ordering counter, menu and table with condiments. Not much, but brings great joy to many people. She got a chicken box, 4 wings and fries, #saltpepperketchup(it's a Baltimore thing) all over. I opted for a sukiyaki sub. The sukiyaki sub is like a secret menu item that is on the actual menu but never gets ordered. I mean, I've never heard someone order one. I've lived in Baltimore my entire life and never had one, my wife is from Anne Arundel County, yet she had this over me. She had a sukiyaki sub before and I didn't?! Once I found out the ingredients I was all in, ribeye steak, onions, lettuce, carrots, hots and Mayo all cooked on the grill together. Once I got it my first bite was everything. It tastes better than an actual cheesesteak. I am not lying, at that moment I decided I will not order cheesesteaks anymore lol. It's Choi's though, their food is always good and I've never had an issue. They are a staple in the Cherry Hill area and plenty people frequent the place on a daily. Get yourself there and have a sukiyaki sub, tell them Anthony sent you(they don't know me or anything but everyone says that when they recommend a place lol).
